Mother’s Circle

come gather with other local mamas in a similar season of life…

The intention of this circle is to support, envelop and embrace mothers, whether you are currently expecting or mothering young children.

To provide space for us all to be witnessed, heard and held as we share about any and all facets of being a mother - from the greatest of joys to the hardest of struggles and frustrations - in full transparency and with no judgment.

To check and assess the stories we tell ourselves and untangle beliefs we may be carrying that are dragging us down and tiring us out.

To remember our immense and incredible worth, value, importance and power as women, and especially as mothers. Motherhood is truly some of the most essential, sacred, conscious-shaping and humanity-healing work there is in this world.

To grow connections and friendships with other local women who are also on a similar path and develop a felt sense of sisterhood - we are not alone on our journeys.

To take a few moments out of our very full lives to tune into our heart, quiet the endless chatter going on in our head, and hear the quiet whispers of our soul.

To utilize simple, mindful practice and ritual in order to tap into our inner wisdom and the sacredness of being a woman, mother, and of Life itself. To gather our findings, feelings and revelations along the way to fuel our personal growth and passions, help us shift out of ways of thinking, being and living that aren’t really serving us, and propel us into embodying the woman we came here to be and a life that we are lit up by.

My intention is to: hold the space for you to be your whole and full self, guide you in intentional, soulful practice and ritual, and sit alongside you as I witness, honor and embrace you with an open heart.

We gather once a month, on Saturday mornings, in the Spring-Fall seasons at my home outside of Lititz, PA, where we’ll open a sharing circle to talk about the joys and struggles of motherhood, enjoy a nourishing snack and some tea, and engage in a sacred practice or ritual together.

If desired, I’ll open up a group text/Instagram/What’s App group where we can continue to support one another throughout the time between our circles, and/or serve as a place where I/we can share things about motherhood, as well as loving, mindful prompts and quotes to contemplate or journal about to support our mothering journeys.

I also envision us all coming together with our families for some kind of group outing and adventure or a potluck-style picnic sometime during our time together, so that we can all meet and hang out together with our loved ones!

ReTurning :

Wheel of the Year Circle

The ever-cycling seasons of Nature invite us to tune into her rhythms, to take life slowly and more mindfully, and to notice and explore the gifts, medicine, and beauty of each season. The seasons remind us to trust that everything has its time and it’s place, that every season, transition, and point has a purpose and is needed for the whole of life.

The turning of winter’s renewal and rest to the bright green shoots of new life of spring, to the fiery high-energy growth of summer, to autumn’s harvest, death and decay cycle in a continuous wheel, and can be seen as mirrors to the spiritual, physical and psychological cycles and seasons in our own lives. Honoring the changing of the seasons is a beautiful way to deepen our connection to Mother Earth and to make our lives more full and rich on a deep soul-level.

Ancient cultures from around the globe have marked nature’s turning wheel with ceremony, festivals and ritual, following the yearly course of Sun, Moon and different spiritual and agricultural markers. To our ancestors, the Divine was in nature and all of life and this world was held as sacred. The Wheel of the Year itself is typically connected to the Celtic and Pagan traditions, but when we look to the intentions embedded in the celebrations from ancient cultures, they are so similar… we all are here together, all calling this same beautiful planet home.

Let’s walk the Wheel together.

Let’s reweave these earthly ways and return to honoring the sacred seasons of life.

(8 gatherings/every 6 weeks)

Our next circle to honor Beltane will be held on Sunday April 30th.

Mama Blessing

Celebrate the rite of passage from maiden to mother in sacred ceremony, honoring this beautiful threshold moment with intention, ritual, and celebration. Mama, may you remember your strength, beauty, intuition and divinity as you prepare to birth not only your baby, but also yourself as Mother.

I’m ancient communities, this was a common practice. This ceremony is inspired by the traditional Navajo Blessingway ceremony. This is a space to acknowledge and focus on Mama - to witness, hold space and celebrate a woman on the cusp of motherhood, one of the most important vocations and roles one could ever play in this life.

Imagine a radiant pregnant goddess surrounded by a circle of women, her closest friends and family, all there to celebrate her, to honor her as she prepares to give birth and transform herself, her family, her life as she guides her baby into this world and becomes a mother.

They gather together in a beautifully and intentionally decorated space to laugh, cry and share stories that elevate birth and motherhood and tend to any of her worries or fears. They connect with one another through ritual, breath, meditation, song, movement. Her body and her spirit is gracefully adorned, pampered and blessed as she sits here, wading between the worlds, preparing for this great transition. She is presented with intentionally chosen, love-filled gifts to remind her of her innate, incredible power to create, birth and nurture new life. They craft and weave a web of support around her that she then takes with her, a web that holds her through her final days of pregnancy, through birth, and into this new phase of her life as a mother. The circle is then closed through feasting on a spread of nourishing food and beverages together.

She knows that only she alone can birth her baby, but these women remind her that she has everything she needs within her to take this journey, and she has this village to support her in becoming Mama.

This ceremony is tailored to each mama’s vision.
